The Library Foundation invites donors to establish named endowments with gifts of $100,000 or more. Income, generated from endowments on an annual basis, provides reliable program funding in perpetuity.
In addition, donors can contribute to endowments already established by the Foundation, including:
  • The Gregory Peck Literary Endowment provides long-term funding for the literary, cultural, and educational programs Mr. Peck and his family envisioned for the greater Los Angeles community.
  • The Caroline Singleton Adult Literacy Endowment provides funding for the maintenance and expansion of the Library's Adult Literacy Services, a critically important program that Mrs. Singleton and her family value so highly.
  • The Foundation Board-designated Endowment provides long-term funding for special Library programs and projects.
  • The National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant Endowment provides support for humanities programs and materials at the Library.

To learn more about establishing an endowment or contributing to an existing endowment, please contact the Foundation at info@lfla.org or (213) 228-7500.
