Comprised of Angelenos in their 20's, 30's, and 40's, the Young Literati are the vanguard of the Library Foundation’s mission to raise awareness and support for the Los Angeles Public Library.

To become a member of the Young Literati, is to join a group of engaged and informed Angelenos who believe in and celebrate the principles that public libraries stand for—free and equal
access (regardless of race, class, gender, ethnicity, sexual preference, political or religious belief) to information and ideas that challenge and inspire. Membership in the Young Literati is also a passport to a variety of members-only cultural events throughout the year featuring authors, actors, artists, and academics, from the world-renowned and award-winning to the up and coming.
