Plant a Tree for Me!
Everyone loves trees, especially Elmo, Grover, and their Sesame Street friends! Follow them through the seasons as they look at different kinds of trees and explain how taking care off trees also helps take care of the Earth. Then flip the giant flap on the last page to see a tree grow strong and tall!
The exhibit "Forty Years of Sesame Street Illustration: Selections from the Publishing Archive of Sesame Workshop", which explores the history of the popular children's educational television show Sesame Street, will be on display at the downtown Central Library's First Floor Galleries, 630 W. Fifth St., from September 4, 2010 through April 30, 2011.
