Stay Home and Read a Book Ball

What’s the most indulgently gratifying way to support the public library? Stay home and read a good book.

The Stay Home and Read a Book Ball is one of the Library Foundation’s most popular fundraising campaigns. When you sign up to “attend”, you celebrate with a community of dedicated supporters who help ensure the Los Angeles Public Library has the crucial resources needed to better serve the public.

The brilliant part? You don’t have to leave your house to join the cause. Instead of getting dressed up and hitting the town, the Library Foundation invites "attendees" to do what the "non-event’s" name suggests: stay home, read a book, and have a ball!

Proceeds benefit the Library Foundation's cultural and educational programs including the award-winning lecture series [ALOUD].
