The Library Foundation of Los Angeles presents several signature benefit events throughout the year to engage the Los Angeles community and garner deeper support for its mission. By attending a benefit event, you not only enjoy an evening surrounded by others who love reading, books, and libraries, you also help ensure the future of the Los Angeles Public Library.

Library Awards Dinner is held each spring to recognize a writer for his or her contribution to literature and an individual or organization that has made a significant contribution to reading, libraries, and learning.

Literary Feasts is an extraordinary and unique bi-annual event held in November, where more than 50 dinners, each featuring a distinguished author, are hosted in the most beautiful homes in Los Angeles.

Young Literati Annual Toast is an annual cocktail party which brings together Angelenos in their 20's, 30's, and early 40's and features actors, writers, and musicians, reading from the work of their favorite author.

Stay Home and Read a Book Ball is an annual event where donors are invited to do just what the event title suggests: stay home, read a book, and have a ball.
