The Library Foundation of Los Angeles presents several donor
events throughout the year to engage the community and garner support for
its mission.
Gregory Peck Reading Series is produced by the Peck family, and features some of the most acclaimed actors of our time, who read from their favorite plays, poems, short stories, novels, essays, and letters. Invitations are a benefit of Library Associates' membership at the Sustainer level and above. This is Your Library is a series of late-night talk show-like events occurring after-hours at the historic Central Library downtown, featuring well-known and not so well-known Angelenos talking about what they do, how they do it and what it means to be doing it in Los Angeles, with dj’s, live music, food trucks and full bar. Hosted by Justin Veach. Young Literati events are held throughout the year as a benefit of Young Literati membership at the $200 Friend Level and above. A major donor recognition event is held annually by the Library Foundation to honor donors who have made a major gift during the fiscal year. For more information, about the Foundation's upcoming donor events, please contact the Foundation at info@lfla.org or (213) 228-7500. Support for the Library Foundation of Los Angeles is direct support for the Los Angeles Public Library. Every dollar counts. Your gift to the Library Foundation helps the Los Angeles Public Library grow stronger. |
