The Rev. Scotty McLennan is the Dean for Religious Life at Stanford University.  He was the university Chaplain at Tufts University from 1984 to 2000, and senior lecturer at the Harvard Business School for ten of those years. In 1975, he was ordained to the ministry (Unitarian Universalist) and admitted to the Massachusetts bar as an attorney. He is the author of Finding Your Religion and was the inspiration for Doonesbury's Rev. Scott Sloan.

Rev. Jim Burklo is an ordained United Church of Christ (Congregational) minister.  He has served as the Associate Dean of Religious Life at USC since August 2008.  He creates and conducts groups, events, and programs for students to experience the religious and spiritual diversity of USC and Los Angeles.  Previously, he served as the pastor of Sausalito (CA) Presbyterian Church and College Heights Church (UCC) in San Mateo, CA.  He was the ecumenical Protestant campus minister at Stanford University.  He was the founder and executive director of the Urban Ministry of Palo Alto, which serves low income and homeless people in the Peninsula area of Northern California.  He writes and speaks at a national level on theologically and socially progressive Christian topics.  He is the author of two books on progressive Christianity:  Open Christianity, and Birdlike and Barnless.
