The Library Store helps provide support to the Los Angeles Public Library by selling items that encourage reading and writing.
 
The Library Store offers a wide range of specialty merchandise, including Gifts for Readers, Gifts for Writers, Children's Items, Books about Los Angeles, and Los Angeles Public Library Merchandise and Books Signed by the Author.

ORDER CAPABILITIES
Once an order is received it will be shipped within 24 hours (excluding holidays and weekends). Please allow 7-10 days to receive your order. Please add $20.00 for overnight delivery. At this time we can accept United States shipping addresses with a street address (no P.O. Boxes).

RETURN POLICY
Hassle-free returns: the Library Store will gladly accept returns and exchanges of purchases from our web-site that do not meet your needs. As soon as we receive your returned item/s, we will credit the credit card you used. If paid by check, you will receive a check in the mail within 4 weeks. Sorry, the Library Store is unable to accept returns on sale items, used items or items damaged outside the store, excluding items damaged in transit.

BACKORDERS
The Library Store will make every effort to ship orders complete. If an item is out of stock or unavailable, we will ship it as soon as it is available. If the item was with a larger order there will be no freight charge (you only pay freight once). If the item is no longer available we will notify you.

From time to time, we may decide to use your information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in this privacy policy. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will amend this policy accordingly to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of any new uses. As noted above, inaccuracies may from time to time occur in relation to the merchandise offered in our online store. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are not satisfied with your purchase from our online store, you may return it to us at the address below with the original packing receipt within 30 days of receipt.

5. Miscellaneous.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California applicable to agreements made and to be performed in the State of California. In the event that you wish to assert any claim against the Foundation for any purpose whatsoever, you expressly agree that such dispute will be determined exclusively by arbitration pursuant to the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any claim you may have must be commenced in arbitration within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises or such claim or cause of action is forever barred. The Foundation's failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. If any given provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the other provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect. The Foundation may assign its rights and duties under these Terms to any party at any time without notice to you.
